În Clujul de altădată, multe obiective ale oraşului, locuri, erau cu mult diferite faţă de cele de astăzi. Odinioară exista o piaţă a „servitoarelor”, unde sicanele îşi întâlneau iubiţii. În aceeaşi zonă era şi prima piaţă de păsări a oraşului. La fel, autogara. Tot acolo, în zona Parcului Caragiale, încă se mai păstrează o casă romană cu încălzire în pardoseală, şi acolo a fost şi o berărie, o fabrică de bere, prima din oraş, de acum aproape 700 de ani. Prima bere făcută în prima berărie a oraşului

„Aici ne aflăm într-o locaţie, în afara zidurilor primului Cluj feudal, cel de 7 hectare, unde este amintită, în 1366, prima fabrică de bere. Era bere făcută artizanal. Locuitorii acestei zone a Clujului în secolul XIV, de când vorbim, erau eminamente colonişti germani.

Iar în partea cealalată a cafenelei, e zidul de nord al Clujului de 7 hectare. În această zonă avem şi foarte multe urme ale oraşului roman Napoca. De exemplu, în partea de sud a acestei clădiri este un apartament – să-i spunem – roman, o locuinţă romană cu hipocaust, adică romanii încălzeau cu conducte din ceramică cu apă; focul ardea tot timpul şi era o încălzire a respectivei case”, povesteşte istoricul clujean.

Piaţa de „servitoare”, piaţa de păsări, autogara

„Tot aici a fost pe vremuri, în perioada interbelică, autogara Clujului. De asemenea, în anii 70-80 era o sală de box, sala Voinţa.

În apropiere de Parcul Caragiale şi în apropiere de Palatul telefoanelor s-au găsit o serie de artefacte romane şi feudale şi al altor populaţii şi e bine să amintim că tot aici a fost prima piaţă de păsări a Clujului. Iar aici, lângă Palatul telefoanelor, în anii 70-80 ai secolului XX, era o piaţă de <<servitoare>>, unde fetele din Sic, joia, se întâlneau cu băieţii, cu iubiţii lor. Având în vedere că aveau îmbrăcămintea în roşu şi negru, tineretul mai hazliu al Clujului de atunci spunea că e concert <<Roşu şi Negru>>, pentru că de multe ori se lăsa şi cu dans”, mai spune Vladimir Alexandru Bogosavlievici.

In the old Cluj, many attractions and places, were much different from those of today. Once, there was a „maid” market, where the women from Sic (a small village in Cluj) would meet their lovers. In the same area, there was the city’s first bird market. As well as the bus station. Also there, in the area of ​​Caragiale Park, there is a Roman house with underfloor heating. There was also a brewery, the first in the city, almost 700 years ago. The Cluj historian Vladimir Alexandru Bogosavlievici reviews them all.

The first beer made in the city’s first brewery

„Here we are in a place outside the walls of the first feudal Cluj, the one of 7 hectares, where the first brewery is mentioned in 1366. It was craft beer. The residents in this area of ​​Cluj were eminently German settlers in the fourteenth century.

On the other side of the cafe, there is the north wall of the 7 hectares Cluj. In this area we also have many traces of the Roman city Napoca. For example, in the southern part of this building there is -let’s call it – a Roman apartment, a Roman place with a hypocaust, which means that the Romans heated it with ceramic pipes with water; the fire would be burning all the time and it was a heating of that house”, the historian from Cluj says.

The “maid” market, the bird market, the bus station

In the interwar period, there was also the bus station of Cluj. Furthermore, in the 70s-80s, there was a boxing hall, the „Willpower” hall.

Near the Caragiale Park and the telephone Palace, a series of Roman and feudal artifacts was found, some of them would belong to other populations. This was also the first bird market in Cluj and the <<maid>> market, next to the telephone Palace, in the 70s-80s, where the girls from Sic would meet with their boyfriends on Thursdays. Given that they used to wear red and black clothes, the funnier youth of Cluj said that it was a <<red and black>> concert, because they would dance often”, Vladimir Alexandru Bogosavlievici adds.
